Installation sur RHEL

it is also possibe to add a Redhat/centOS Repository to install the OMSA Modules via yum:

wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/repo/community/bootstrap.cgi | bash

wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/OMSA_6.4/bootstrap.cgi | bash

adds the repository and the key. After that you can install with

yum install srvadmin-base

if you want the webservice and your disks monitored you have to install these modules as well:

yum install srvadmin-webserver srvadmin-storageservices

via un navigateur web, en httpS, port 1311. utilisateur root / mdp de la machine

Configurer toutes les alertes

Alerte pb version PERC/i : event=storagectrlwarn

Installation sur Debian

Note :
Sur les squeeze 64 bits, dsm_om_shrsvc ne fonctionne pas. cf.

Ce n'est pas sur que cela soit important :
dsm_om_shrsvc "Exécute le collecteur d'inventaire au démarrage pour effectuer un inventaire des logiciels du système. Celui-ci permet aux fournisseurs SNMP et CIM de Server Administrator d'effectuer une mise à jour des logiciels à distance à l'aide de Dell System Management Console et Dell IT Assistant (ITA)."
